Ever since I was born, going to church was as usual as going to the grocery store. Nothing spectacular about it. Never for once did I imagine a time when I wouldn’t go not because I didn’t want to but because I couldn’t or wasn’t allowed to.
I’ve heard and read about some Christians persecuted for their faith in the Middle East and Asia such that they have to hide to meet. I do pray from time to time that God will keep their faith and shelter them under His wings. But I do admit that I could do much better.
Thankfully, the present circumstances disallowing us to congregate has nothing to do with religious opposition. It’s a matter of public safety. Welcome to 2020, people.
