About

We are a team of two young Reform guys navigating a land, Ghana, inundated with charismatism, pentecostal and word of faith movement.

It is a lonely walk. We are in the minority. Among our non-reform friends, they view us as unspiritual, too rational and too logical in our Christian beliefs. We are Reformed, so “Sola Scriptura” is our battle cry. But so often we meet with resistance because we have no room for dreams, visions, gut feelings, intuition and “feeling the anointing” in our theology.

“Here We Stand”: This blog is a “mock Reformation” in our beloved  country Ghana. We hope and pray through this medium, some will be brought to the knowledge of God’s glorious doctrines of Grace.

Soli Deo Gloria!

  1. Sounds like a good fight! Loving thy neighbor is always easier when your neighbor is just like you, and it sounds like you guys are finding your neighbors to be quite varied. How do you guys approach the Holy Spirit as Reformed people? Obviously, that is going to be a huge subject with charismatic churches. Logic is a hard thing to maintain sometimes, and I personally feel the term has become very corrupted. To me, it can easily become a stumbling block when I lock in on the logic of my own understanding. Praise God for your reaching out to your country.
